Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast in the New York Stock Exchange. She has a number of well-known programs under her belt. An experienced broadcaster who has more than two decades' experience writing about business and economy, she was instrumental in helping CNBC grow into one of television's most popular channels for business and the economy. Highly successful as a journalist, her work proves she was always destined to work in this area. Maria was a bit unsure when picking a path she wanted to follow as woman. She was then tempted to become an interior designer. Her interest was drawn by the excitement of journalism and didn't look at her back. In addition to being a brilliant journalist however she serves as an example to women who want a career in an industry dominated by males. She was named one of the 50 Faces that Shaped the Decade she also became the first female journalist to be recognized in the Cable Hall of Fame. She is also an author as well as a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actress who is active in television, film and theater. Gifted thespian, she is working in the world of professional acting since the past 27. In 1990, she performed her debut on stage in an Off Broadway production from The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first TV appearance within a year. In 1992, her acting career started when she was commissioned for a part in Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she began her career as a female actor opposite Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Throughout the 1990s she worked alongside some of the most renowned stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow on Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. Recently, she was the character Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
